Responsibilities
- Develop, ship, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android.
- Build reusable, well-documented components and libraries that ensure consistent UI/UX and smooth performance across platforms.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, third-party SDKs, and native device features (camera, location, biometrics).
- Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks, crashes, memory leaks, and platform-specific issues using tools like Flipper and Chrome DevTools.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to translate product requirements into polished, production-ready features.
- Manage app store build pipelines, release workflows, and over-the-air updates to ensure timely and reliable deployments on both platforms.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience building and shipping mobile applications with React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong command of core React concepts — hooks, context, navigation (React Navigation), and state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or Zustand).
- Proven experience integrating native modules, push notifications (FCM/APNs), deep linking, and handling app store submission and review processes.
- Solid knowledge of mobile UI/UX standards, responsive layouts, animations (Reanimated, Animated API), and platform-specific design guidelines.
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows, mobile build tools (Gradle, Xcode), and debugging/profiling tools (Flipper, React DevTools, Chrome DevTools).
- Experience with Expo, CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions), and mobile performance optimization techniques is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development and Firebase services (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config) is an added advantage.
